The Oliveriana Psalter is an illuminated manuscript of the biblical book of Psalms preceded by a Christian calendar and followed by an extensive collection of hymns. Created in the last quarter of the fifteenth century, perhaps in Prague, it features twelve calendar miniatures showing the labors of the months, full-page miniatures of the Tree of Jesse and Saint Jerome, and twelve large painted initials, of which four are historiated. Painted foliage, flowers, birds, and animals embellish the margins of many of the pages.
