The Hardouyn Hours in Budapest is a book designed to aid Christian private prayer. Printed by Gilles Hardouyn in Paris in 1510, the book is a collection of prayers and prayer services, including the Hours of the Virgin, the Penitential Psalms, and the Office of the Conception of the Virgin. It opens with an almanac in French covering the years 1510 to 1530. The Budapest copy's twenty full-page woodcuts and numerous smaller woodcut miniatures and initials are painted by hand using colors and gold.
